Editing the Registry
What This Feature Is For
Manually editing the Registry is one of the main functions of Reg Organizer for advanced users. Features available in this mode enhance the functionality of the standard Windows REGEDIT utility allowing you to modify the Registry in an easier, more visual way.
Besides the basic Registry operations available in this mode: creating, deleting and editing Registry keys and values, there are advanced features, such as exporting/importing specific keys or branches to or from a file, searching and working with Favorites.
You can easily switch to the Registry Editing mode by clicking the Editing button in the left panel of the Reg Organizer's main window. This button opens a window showing the tree of Registry keys and the list of values for a currently selected key. At the bottom of the window is a list of keys and values found during a search. You can search for keys and values by their names or data using the Registry Search and Replace mode.
