Reg Organizer Working Modes

Registry Search and Replace
To switch to this mode, click the Search and Replace button on the Modes bar in the left part of the main window of Reg Organizer.

In this mode you can find and replace specific information in the registry.

Set up all required search (or replace) parameters and click Search to start the search.

You can use profiles to save the search (and replace) settings. Use the Profiles tab to save the current profile to a file or load a previously saved one.

All the instances of the search text will appear in the Results tab. You can edit or delete the found records. To edit a record, select it in the table and click the Change button to bring up the editor window. Enter the new value name (leave the corresponding field empty if you don't want to modify it) and value data. Click OK to apply changes.

The Delete button has additional options (you can view them by clicking the drop-down arrow next to the button). Use these options to specify whether the selected record must be removed from the registry or from the search results only. Clicking the button removes the record from the Registry and from the search results list. You can also remove a record only from the search results list by marking it and pressing the Del key.
