Reg Organizer 5: A New Level of Registry Maintenance

The first beta version of Reg Organizer 5, the utility designed for comprehensive maintenance of the Microsoft Windows system registry, has been released. The utility supports a wide range of operations with the system registry varying from cleaning, optimization, and find-and-replace operations to editing of registry files and more.

Reg Organizer 5 improves user-friendliness and enhances the functionality of the tool. The user interface was completely revamped. Management tools were enhanced, and new controls that facilitate the use of the program were added.

The new registry editor enables users to easily edit registry files and even create complete registry files without exiting the registry editor. Sometimes it is necessary to create assembled registry files to transfer the settings of different applications. However, standard system tools provide no easy way to perform these operations. Reg Organizer’s automatic registry and disc cleanup functions were implemented in the form of step-by-step wizards. Now you can easily and quickly perform automatic cleaning step-by-step without additional questions or other difficulties. The capabilities of the manual registry cleanup function were enhanced, with some of the functions being automated. For example, you no longer have to pay attention to 100% of the errors while searching for the ones you want to delete. The utility now highlights them automatically and prompts you to correct them. Also, a new type of data grouping will allow you to customize the manual cleaning mode to accomodate your needs. Reg Organizer 5 supports enhanced registry fine-tuning functions (including new functions compatible with Windows Vista), provides an updated interface for the Add or Remove Programs function, and features a new function of the system express analysis that can roughly evaluate the status of the system immediately after the program is launched.
