Reg Organizer 6.0 Quick Launch

October 23, 2012 (updated 4 years ago) by Chemtable Software

Speed and convenience are important factors while working with a registry editor. That’s why we have improved the launch process in the new version of Reg Organizer so it launches our advanced registry editor much more quickly than before. After upgrading to the new sixth version of Reg Organizer to be released this month, you can run the registry editor via the Start menu search or with the “Run” command (executed with the Win+R shortcut), by simply typing three R letters in a row and hitting Enter.

Interestingly, running Reg Organizer under Windows Vista and Windows 7 OS will not produce the UAC (User Account Control) dialog that usually shows when an application requiring administrator rights is launched.

If you want, you can change the Reg Organizer quick launch sequence. Simply click the “rrr” link in the registry editor caption and specify the new shortcut in the opened window. If you leave the field blank, Reg Organizer quick launch will be disabled.

From version to version, Reg Organizer’s functions have been improving, and so have its icons. Take a look how the utility’s icons have changed from 2001 to 2009.

For Reg Organizer 6 we have made a new stylish icon and a startup screen to reflect the new round in the development of the program.

For users whose subscription is still active, switching to Reg Organizer 6.0 will be free. If your subscription is expiring, you can renew it when you upgrade to the new version. If you purchase Reg Organizer right now, the upgrade to version 6.0 will be free for you.
