In that particular case it was files in Users\<user>\AppData\Local\<application> directory. But this happens with almost any trace removal.

Can you imagine hardware configuration which will cause Reg Organizer exclusively (not any other application) spend 20 min for deleting 5 files in user (not system) directory, and no registry keys? There is no high CPU consuming software running in the background. No other application does not take 20 min to delete 5 files in user's (not system) directory. What so aggressive can Reg Organizer do to cause such a terrible slowdown?

It is always been slow. Removing traces of 5 files and 0 reg entries can take 20+ minutes.
