Microsoft Fixed 107 Vulnerabilities – Check Your PC

On August 12, 2025, Microsoft released major security updates as part of its traditional Patch Tuesday. This month, 107 vulnerabilities were fixed, including 13 critical ones and one actively exploited 0-day in Windows Kerberos.

Key Threats

  • CVE-2025-53779 – a vulnerability in Kerberos that allows an authenticated attacker to escalate privileges to domain administrator. Discovered by an Akamai researcher, PoC has already been published.
  • 9 Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerabilities in Windows and related components.
  • 44 privilege escalation vulnerabilities – an attacker could gain control over the system.
  • 18 information disclosure vulnerabilities – risks of confidential data leaks.

Microsoft has released patches for all supported Windows versions, including Windows 10, 11, Server and LTSC releases.
