Microsoft updates: over 70 vulnerabilities fixed

Yesterday, on May 13, 2025, Microsoft Corporation, as part of “Patch Tuesday,” released updates for its products that fixed over 70 issues, including 5 actively exploited zero-day security vulnerabilities.

Among the patched issues were 17 privilege escalation vulnerabilities, 2 security feature bypass vulnerabilities, 28 remote code execution vulnerabilities, 15 information disclosure vulnerabilities, 7 denial of service vulnerabilities, and 2 spoofing vulnerabilities.

The most critical issues that were fixed include CVE-2025-30400, CVE-2025-32701, CVE-2025-32706, CVE-2025-32709, and CVE-2025-30397. These affect multiple company products, including the Microsoft Edge browser.

To protect your system and secure your data, it is recommended to install the updates delivered through Windows Update on Windows 10 and 11.
