Reg Organizer 7.15: Removing Applications Becomes Easier
July 14, 2015 (updated 3 years ago) by Chemtable Software
The new version of Reg Organizer 7.15 features an improved program uninstalling tool. Previously, to uninstall an unnecessary program, you had to execute Reg Organizer manually, then you activated the application removal tool and located the application you wanted to uninstall in the list. Now, you launch the process directly from Windows Explorer.
You have two options here:
- If there’s a Reg Organizer icon on the desktop, you can drag the icon of the application being uninstalled to the Reg Organizer icon.
- Right-click the shortcut of the application you want to remove to bring up the context menu and select “Uninstall completely with Reg Organizer”.
Upon the first run of the new version, you should see a message describing the above two ways to quickly and efficiently remove programs from Explorer.
Also, we have improved other elements of Reg Organizer too.
The autostart manager now displays more elements on the start tab. We added the “Services” section.
Previously, to display elements of this type, you had to switch to this section using the menu atop the list.
The program preferences now feature a single integration option replacing several smaller ones.
In the portable version, you can turn off the splash screen to slightly speed up the loading of the program. And of course, the new version introduces some small bug fixes and improvements for increased stability and performance of the application.
