Improved security of Reg Organizer 8.70

Throughout the Reg Organizer development, we have been paying great attention to your safety, trying to maintain its high efficiency. New version 8.70 is no exception.
Deleting Obsolete Downloads and Emptying the Recycle Bin
The Obsolete Downloads and Recycle Bin cleaning functions have been improved.
Obsolete Downloads: Reg Organizer cleaning function, where the utility searches for and offers to delete files downloaded more than 14 days ago. In the settings, a different storage period may be specified.
In previous versions users could accidentally lose files they needed without noticing them in the list of files to be deleted. To get one or more of these files back one had to use data recovery utilities. To prevent this, we decided to move all files from the “Obsolete Downloads” function to the Recycle Bin. In this case, you can easily restore them if necessary. When you empty the Recycle Bin with Reg Organizer, these files will also be ignored for 30 days.
The Recycle Bin cleanup function itself received similar settings. Now you can set the data storage period in it. By default, it is 30 days, but it can be changed to a different value in the settings.
Own Recording System Boot Time Mechanism
After one of the Windows 10 updates, the regular boot time tracking mechanism stopped working in the system. As a result, tracking of boot time in Reg Organizer stopped working, since it worked based on the Microsoft mechanism. This generated many user complaints about the empty boot time chart.
For some time, we had been expecting Windows developers to fix the problem, but we decided to implement our algorithm in order not to depend on third-party solutions. In Reg Organizer’s new version 8.70, you can assess how it works. Now you can measure your computer boot time in two ways: permanently and on a one-off basis.
Background Functions
The third main feature of the update is the improved settings window. There we created the Background Functions tab, where we added all functions that the utility can perform when minimized to the tray.
There you can easily enable and disable individual functions without having to run through various windows in different tools, as before.
