User question
Why, when uninstalling applications through Reg Organizer, Soft Organizer, or Files Inspector, does it sometimes first ask for confirmation, as shown in the first image, and for others, it immediately starts searching for traces, as shown in the second image?
Answer
This depends on how the program is registered in the system. For some programs, there is an option for silent uninstallation – without showing dialogs. For others, only a standard uninstallation is available, with all the necessary dialogs displayed. In the first case, our program asks for confirmation before uninstalling. In the second case, this is not required, as the uninstaller itself handles it. This is why the uninstallation process differs for different programs.
However, there are programs that register their uninstallation as standard, not silent, but in fact, they start it immediately in silent mode. Because of this, the program may be uninstalled immediately after clicking the Uninstall button, even though you expected a confirmation prompt.
Solution to the problem: Before uninstalling, in the applications list, right-click on the program to display the context menu. In it, select the command Uninstall with Special Options:
Then, before the application is removed, the confirmation screen will definitely appear, and the uninstallation will not start unexpectedly.
